Ben Angel accepts briefs in all aspects of Criminal Law, including Adult, Youth, and Environmental matters. His practice also includes Private Intervention Orders, Coronial Inquests, Commissions of Inquiry, and Licensing Commission reviews. 

Ben joined Edmund Barton Chambers in July 2025, following a role as in-house Counsel at a leading Adelaide law firm. Prior to that, he gained extensive experience representing clients across South Australia, including with the Aboriginal Legal Rights Movement (ALRM), where he acted in diverse matters ranging from summary offences to complex trials. 

Since admission Ben has appeared as counsel in all South Australian criminal jurisdictions from the Magistrates Court sitting in the APY Lands to the Court of Criminal Appeal.
